Nomination requirements and guidelines

The nomination process is done entirely online. Once an organization has been nominated, the Foundation will contact the nominee directly to ask for additional information. We strongly encourage you to nominate an organization as soon as you are able, as your nominee will have limited time to submit materials. The steps are as follows:

Step 1: Once nominations open, create an account and password by visiting the Hilton Humanitarian Prize nominations portal.

Step 2: Complete the nomination form and upload your signed nomination letter in English. Not to exceed four typed pages in 12-point font, the signed nomination letter should cite the reasons the nominee deserves the Hilton Humanitarian Prize. If you cannot upload a signed version of your letter, please upload it without the signature and either fax or mail a hard copy of the letter with your signature.

Step 3: The Foundation contacts the nominee for additional information and supporting materials.

A nominator may only nominate one organization per year. If more than one nomination is received for an organization, the first one received will be the nomination of record, unless otherwise directed by the nominee. All other nominations will be registered as letters of support; however, no more than three letters of support will be recorded.
