Funding limit: The length of a Research Award is flexible – it can be short-term (typically up to six months) or up to three years. The award can also be held on a part-time basis.

An award will not usually be above £350,000. Support includes:
● a basic salary (determined by your host organisation)
● personal removal expenses
● research expenses

If you want to do a PhD, we’ll provide:
● a salary
● PhD registration fees
● research expenses
● general training costs.

● You can also apply for any necessary research training as part of your award.

● You can also apply for Research Enrichment funding to increase the impact of your work through activities in public engagement, open research, and diversity and inclusion.
