Funding brief: Frontier Technology Livestreaming is a 3 year programme designed to help DFID apply frontier technologies to development challenges.
The Department for International Development, UK welcome registrations from any frontier technology provider with an application in international development. Although they are open to collaborate with providers at a range of innovation stages, the focus of the programme is on field testing, evidence and experience generation – therefore they particularly welcome technology providers with technologies that can be readily applied. They also encourage registrations from companies that work collaboratively and emphasize learning and sharing their experiences.
Although all types of innovation are welcome, there is a particular early interest in:

● Alternative internet delivery
● Atmospheric water condensers
● Collaborative economy
● Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs, or Drones)
● Household batteries
● Internet of Things
● Smog reducing technologies
● Solar desalination
